Subpoenas fly in ‘DC v Trump’ lawsuit; Stone will plead ‘fifth’; Mueller issues mostly redacted Michael Flynn sentencing memo
Heads up, kids! While the press has been waiting for a certain sentencing memo (see below), subpoenas – a stack of them – in Case Number 8:17-cv-01596-PJM, The District of Columbia et al v Trump, a.k.a. the “Supersized Emoluments Lawsuit,” have been issued! Our prediction: the evidence will reveal the most systematic constitutional ethics violations in American history.

The big news in the subpoena pile:
The state attorney generals who are suing Donald Trump for Emoluments Clause violations are demanding that he turn over all of his tax returns.
Excellent!
And, in the unlikely case you failed to notice, it’s Mueller Time!
Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s long-awaited pre-sentencing memo in the case of Michael Flynn, who pleaded guilty last December to making false statements to the FBI, has been filed today.
Seth Abramson tweeted a word of caution on the scope of what may be revealed:
4/ What we don't know is to what extent Mueller is willing to show his hand in this memo, which has—relatively speaking—fairly minor stakes, given there's only one charge and (if Flynn cooperated fully) Mueller might not be seeking much time. He *won't* want to harm future cases.

The most interesting aspect of the memo; most of it is redacted. Flynn’s crimes are outlined in detail, but most of the remaining material has been blacked out. This means that Mueller’s team is still investigating a very substantial criminal case.
One reveal should surprise nobody: the memo states that Flynn has provided evidence of interactions between Russian agents and top Trump campaign workers.
Another interesting note: Mueller is recommending a sentence with ZERO incarceration, which more than suggests that the information Flynn provided is enormously substantial, provable, and pivotal.
The memo should send a chill through the West Wing: Mueller is pursuing a criminal investigation. Collusion? Conspiracy? Espionage? Stay tuned.
We have no doubt that celebrity real estate mogul Donald J. Trump is having a meltdown.
