Raw Story:

On Monday evening, Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) appeared to end his blockade of the Senate power-sharing agreement, paving the way for Democrats to take control of Senate committees and set the schedule.

McConnell had been holding up approval of the rules resolution because he wanted a formal agreement from Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) that would prohibit Democrats from abolishing the legislative filibuster with the so-called “nuclear option” during the next two years.
