This year’s LensCulture Visual Storytelling awards encompass a global set of artists documenting the world around them from big moments to small. Submissions hailed from 166 countries and a jury of experts picked a wide range of compelling and surprising images. The winners and finalists are now showing at Aperture Gallery in New York until 2 May
